Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 July 2026 ยท Operated by Rheality Limited, Hong Kong
The service
DimSub generates Traditional Chinese subtitles from Cantonese video or audio. Subtitles are produced by automatic speech recognition and machine rewriting: they will contain mistakes, and you are responsible for reviewing them before publication. The service is provided "as is", without warranty of accuracy or availability.
Your content
You keep all rights to what you upload and to the subtitles generated from it. You must have the necessary rights to any file you upload, and you may not use the service for unlawful content. We only process your files to provide the service (see the Privacy Policy for retention details).
Credits and payment
- Processing is billed in minutes of audio, rounded up to the next whole minute per job.
- Purchased minutes are prepaid credits tied to your account; they are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
- If a job fails, the minutes charged for it are refunded to your balance automatically.
- For any billing problem, contact us via the form on the homepage โ genuine issues (double charges, service failures) will be refunded.
Accounts
Keep your login credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (e.g. attempting to bypass limits or disrupt processing).
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rheality Limited's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses caused by subtitle errors.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
